Becky Lynch has commented on why anything surrounding WWE was the most difficult thing to write about in her new book Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, which made her a New York Times bestselling author.

The multi-time women's champion began working on the book during the pandemic when the whole world was shut down. She is one of the biggest stars in the company right now, and she's considered by many as one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time. The RAW star is married to Seth Rollins and they have a daughter together.

Speaking to Chris Van Vliet in a recent interview, Becky Lynch explained why it was so difficult to write about anything involving WWE in her book. She stated that she had to be careful of how she presented people in the public eye but she also wanted to detail everything honestly and factually without being biased.

“Anything with WWE I thought needed to be handled with great care. Because I don’t think you can absent-mindedly write about people that are in the public eye. You have to have a good representation of them and an accurate representation of them. And so I wanted to detail everything very honestly, very factually, without letting my bias come into play. Like when was I the a**hole? I need to own that. Let me try and see the other person’s point of view, because these people are in the public eye and you want to represent them in the way that is most honest," said Lynch.

She added:

"And here’s another thing that Mick Foley told me, never use a book to get back at anybody. Like, never use it as a revenge tool, they don’t have the chance to defend themselves. And I took that as I’m going to be the hero of my own story, right? If you’re reading this, I’m likely painting myself as the hero of my story. It’s not fair for me to paint anybody as a villain, especially somebody who doesn’t have the chance to respond. So I really wanted to handle all of that stuff with care.”

Becky Lynch returned to action recently after her loss at WrestleMania XL

The Man challenged Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania XL, but she failed to capture the title. Although The Eradicator retained her title, she didn't hold it for very long after that, as she vacated it on RAW this week due to an injury.

Meanwhile, Becky Lynch returned to action at a WWE Live event in Birmingham, England on April 17. She collided with her former rival Piper Niven and won the bout after locking in the Dis-Arm-Her. Next week on RAW a new Women's World Champion will be crowned. It'll be interesting to see whether Lynch emerges as the winner.
